Team: Curriculum and Course Design
Sarah is an Assistant Lecturer of the Global Citizenship (GC) Programme. Her current focus is on developing a short course in collaboration with Sol Plaatje University (SPU) and the GC programme at UCT. Sarah has been a facilitator on the GC short courses, as well as worked with community partners for the Social Infrastructures course. She graduated in 2015 with a first class Honours Degree in Social Anthropology, with her thesis focusing on community engagement in curricula of higher education as a way of contributing to decolonisation and transformation. To her, the Global Citizenship Programme is a unique space where social activism meets academia meets personal growth, with each day bringing a new challenge or thought to engage with.
